Surf House

Surf House is located in the small coastal town of Taghazout Bay. The centre of Taghazout is just 3km away and Agadir is 14km away. There's plenty of space in the house, which is beautifully decorated and only a few minutes' walk to cafés and shops. If you fancy an evening dip, the beach is just a five-minute walk away. There are no dormitories at Surf House, where many people sleep together. It's all double and single rooms.

Itinerary

The days are simple on this tour. There's surfing every day and in the evenings you can socialise with the other guests at the Surf House.

You'll arrive at Agadir airport, where you'll be picked up and driven to Taghazout. You will be accommodated in your room.

A typical day looks like this:
08:00 - Morning yoga
09:00 - Delicious and healthy breakfast with plenty of options to set you up for a great day
10:00 - Surfing. The cars are packed and you are driven out to the surf spot of the day. After arrival, we start with a warm-up followed by a lesson
13:00 - Lunch. You'll enjoy delicious sandwiches, fruit and juice. There's also time to fill your stomach and soak up the sun
14:00 - Surfing. You can choose to continue surfing or relax on the beach. It could also be that the group will now move on to another surf spot. It depends on the waves
17:00 - You will be driven back to the Surf House. Here you can relax on the roof terrace, take a shower or something else entirely
20:00 - Dinner. A delicious 3-course Moroccan meal followed by delicious Moroccan tea

Your yoga and surfing holiday in Morocco is over for this time. You'll be driven to the airport, from where you'll fly home to Denmark or further out into the big wide world.

General Information

The price is based on you staying in a double room. If you are travelling alone, you will be sharing a room with a stranger, unless you purchase a single room.

The process around your booking
When you book your trip, we'll start booking hotels and arranging all the practicalities of the trip. This process typically takes 2-5 business days, but it's also possible that some bookings may take longer. If you are arranging your own transport, we recommend that you wait until we have confirmed your booking.

Dates
If you can select the date in the travel calendar at the top of this page, then this is a possible start date. We continuously update the journeys with sold out dates, after which those dates turn red and cannot be selected.

How to get there

Flights to Agadir are not included in the price of the trip. We recommend that you find the flights yourself at www.momondo.dk.
We recommend that you wait until we have confirmed your journey before arranging transport.

Get a quote
If you need us to organise your flight for you, you can request a quote for the trip including flights. It often takes about two days to get a quote. Please note that we charge a handling fee of DKK 350 per ticket, which means that you get the flight cheaper by booking it yourself.

Airport transfer
Transfers from/to the airport in Agadir are included in the price and you'll be picked up no matter what time of day you arrive.

Yoga

The yoga on the tour is Vinyasa Flow and Hatha Yoga. Vinyasa Flow combines breath with body movement and is performed in fluid dance-like movements that burn body waste and focus the mind. Hatha yoga focuses on asanas - yoga postures - and provides insight into your body as you find the right balance in the different asanas.

Yoga classes are offered in the afternoon.

Food and drinks

The trip price includes breakfast and lunch every day. In addition, 6 evening meals are included, which are 3-course meals.

Accommodation

You'll stay in Surf House, a cosy place with double and triple rooms. If you're travelling as a couple, you'll always be put in the same room. If you're travelling alone, the price assumes that you're sharing a room with a stranger of the same gender, but it's also possible to buy a single room for 690kr.

It's important to understand that Surf House is spartan, clean and cosy, but it's not a hotel.

People often ask how old people are on this trip. It varies a lot, but the guests in the camp are typically somewhere between 18 and 45 years old. That said, there is no age restriction.

Please note: there is a local tax of 25 dirhams per day paid to the Moroccan government when staying in Morocco. This is paid locally and is not included in the price (expect around 10 euros for the whole week).

Difficulty level

You don't need any prior knowledge of yoga or surfing to go on this tour.

Travel Insurance

We recommend taking out travel insurance that covers at least illness, accident, repatriation, lost holiday, luggage and liability. As a customer, you are responsible for taking out the necessary travel insurance to cover these costs.
