Our tours in the Netherlands

Cycling in the Netherlands

Only about 50% of the country is higher than 1 meter above sea level, which makes for a very special experience when cycling along the locks, canals and streams that constantly drain the low-lying areas.
The country is known for its beautiful old windmills, colorful clogs, large tulip fields, tasty cheeses and a number of beautiful historic towns.

The official name of the country has been the Kingdom of the Netherlands since 1815, but here in Denmark we often still refer to it as Holland.

The Netherlands consists of 12 provinces, of which only two are the Netherlands - North Holland and South Holland. However, these two provinces contain the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague, which are the center of the country's government and economy, and thus weigh heavily on the country as a whole.

Three cyclists with touring bikes pause on a bridge in front of a traditional Dutch windmill with white sails and brown wooden structure.

We take care of it all

On all of our tours to the Netherlands, we take care of transporting your luggage from hotel to hotel, which is great as it means you can focus on simply enjoying the beautiful hiking routes in the area. You'll also always receive a map and route description of the trip, so you can feel completely safe when you're on your way.
