Cycle approximately 310 kilometers around Lake Constance through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The route follows well-defined cycle paths along the lakeshore, passing through historic towns like Konstanz, Lindau, and Stein am Rhein. Highlights include the pilgrimage church of Birnau, the Rhine Falls, Mainau flower island, and the medieval castle in Meersburg. The terrain is predominantly flat with moderate climbs, especially through hilly areas around towns.
This cycling holiday takes you through three countries, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and you can look forward to experiencing magnificent nature, impressive cultural experiences and not least beautiful cycling routes.
The route starts overlooking Lake Constance, in the town of Konstanz, where you cycle through charming villages with green and lush nature. You'll then cycle past medieval Meersburg and the island of Mainau, known for its lavish gardens filled with flowers.
In addition to lush nature, your cycling holiday will also take you past vineyards, wooded hills and sparkling blue water on the Überlingen promenade.
Halfway along the route you'll reach Lindhau. Here you can explore the old town with its impressive Lindau Tower and historic town hall. If you need a break from the bike seat, you can go hiking in the Austrian town of Horn. Here you can e.g. the beautiful Horn Castle Park and the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park.
At the end of your cycling holiday, you'll cycle along the Rhine and pass the Rhine Falls, one of Europe's largest waterfalls. Here you can enjoy views of the impressive waterfall from several vantage points. You can also get off your bike and enjoy the beautiful hiking trails and picnic areas around the falls.

Over the course of eight days, you'll cycle approximately 310 kilometres around Lake Constance. The first three stages are slightly hilly, after which the route becomes relatively flat. The route often follows well-defined cycle paths, so the route is safe to follow. Although the terrain is predominantly flat, you will experience moderate climbs, especially when cycling through hilly terrain around towns and nature areas.
