If you arrange your own transportation, we recommend waiting until we have confirmed your booking before making any arrangements.
Dates
If you can select a date in the trip calendar (in the booking form), then this is a possible start date. We regularly update our trips with sold-out dates; these dates will then appear in red/grey and cannot be selected.

Once we have confirmed your holiday, you need to send us your flight details, so that we can arrange the airport-transfers.
Here are some of the questions we often get asked about this trip:
How does the diving on this trip work?
Every morning you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the boat. It is important to know that diving is mass tourism in Egypt and therefore there may be many other guests on the boats sharing the dive guides. The diving is finished around 17:00-17:30, after which you will be driven back to your hotel.
What is the equipment hire like?
As mentioned, the equipment on the boats is used a lot and therefore the equipment included on the boats will often be worn out. In addition, wetsuits may have holes and other imperfections - however, the water is so warm that a hole in a wetsuit is rarely a problem. That said, safety is good and the equipment works.
How much does it cost to rent equipment
We have intentionally not included equipment (besides tanks and weights). We've done this because the price of equipment can vary greatly depending on the equipment you prefer. Locally, it will cost somewhere between 25 and 50 euros per day of diving, depending on how old your equipment is. The equipment is well maintained.
Can I experience wreck diving on the trip?
Yes, you can. Just let us know if you want to dive at Thistlegorm, for example. If you want this, you must select it when you book the tour. We need to know how many dives you want. We can also take care of this after you have booked the tour. Please note that two dives at Thistlegorm cost an extra 90 euros per person and require Advanced Open Water or similar. This is paid locally and you should be aware that departures to Thistlegorm depend on whether the boats have enough participants.
Can we dive at Ras Mohamed Marine Park?
Yes, you can. On this trip you will be diving in and around Ras Mohamed Marine Park. All fees for this are included.
Can I dive with nitrox?
Yes, you can. It costs 95kr per dive. If you wish to do this, please write it in the message box when booking the trip.
Where do the diving trips start from?
The boat departs from Sharm El Sheikh.
It is possible to obtain a diving certification on this trip. In that case, it will be a 3–5 day PADI Open Water course. You will still have the same number of diving days, but the first days will be used for the certification.
If you want to take a diving certificate on your trip, you can opt for it when you book.
Here you can read our guide to diving certification.
The course is divided into three phases
- Theory - You learn the basic principles of diving
- Confined Water dives - You'll make your first dives in a safe environment (e.g. a swimming pool or shallow water). You'll be trained in basic techniques.
- Open Water dives - You'll make your first four dives in the ocean. Here you use the techniques you learnt in the previous confined water dives.
PADI E-Learning
We recommend completing the theory in advance through a PADI e-learning course. The e-learning is not included in the price and therefore comes at an additional cost. The e-learning course can be purchased directly on PADI’s website.
In order to take the diving licence, you must have completed this document. The rule is that if you can answer no to everything on page 1, you do not need to see a doctor. If you can answer yes to something, then you need to see a doctor and the doctor needs to complete and sign page 2.
On this tour you will stay at a 4-star resort/hotel in a double room. The hotel will be All Inclusive. The exact resort/hotel will be decided a few days before you arrive in Egypt.
The hotels will be All Inclusive and on diving days, lunch will be served on the boat.
Visas to Egypt are not included in the price of this trip. Visas are arranged at the airport, so make sure to bring € 30 per person for this.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry.
We can also arrange visas for you. If you want us to do this, you can opt-in on the booking form.
We recommend taking out travel insurance that covers at least illness, accident, repatriation, lost holiday, luggage and liability. As a customer, you are responsible for taking out the necessary travel insurance to cover these costs.
Before taking out insurance, you should check whether you are already covered by travel or cancellation insurance through your home insurance company, credit card or similar - please note that there may be differences in insurance coverage.
