Cycling holiday in Mallorca

- Discover the lesser known sides of the popular island -

8 Days / 7 Nights
Moderate

Mallorca is known for its beach tourism, but if you look outside the resorts at the beach, the island has amazingly great nature to offer. Standing on steep cliffs overlooking the quiet azure blue bays, far away from the vibrant city life, you will see the Mallorcan charm. In the hills on the inner island, the sound of the old mills slowly turning, along with the buzzing sound of cicadas, that almost sounds as if the island is whispering sweet words to people listening.
Both the coast and the inner island, each have their own charm, and you will get acquainted with both of them. In Dragon Caves of Porto Cristo, you will see how creative and sometimes bizarre the natural architecture can be. You will discover picturesque fishing villages and glistening salt lakes, and there will be many opportunities to swim and sunbathe without having to book a sunbed many hours in advance.

The different stages of the tour is a easy to moderate level 2 tour. There will be some good ascents, which will be followed by pleasant descents, and on the most difficult part of the route, you will be transported by bus. The cycling mostly takes place on quirt sideroads, smaller roads and trails to avoid traffic as much as possible.

It is on this cycling holiday possible to rent an electric bicycle. Using a small electric motor it helps you get up to speed, as long as you are active in the pedals. This will leave you with more energy to enjoy the beautiful landscape, even when cycling uphill.
