Highlights include Roman monuments in Trier (Porta Nigra, amphitheater), famous wine regions like Bernkastler Doctor and Zeller Schwarze Katz, medieval Burg Eltz castle, and charming wine villages such as Bernkastel-Kues, Cochem, and Traben-Trarbach.
Several vineyards on both sides of the Moselle River and stunningly beautiful scenery accompany you on this delightful cycling holiday. The tour takes you along 2000 years of Roman history, cycling through historic towns and charming villages while enjoying the delicious wines that can be tasted everywhere.
The tour starts in Trier, Germany's oldest city, which can be seen in the many Roman monuments in the city. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the famous amphitheater in the area and the Porta Nigra.
