We live in a hectic world, where the hustle and bustle of everyday life often means that as families we have fewer and fewer intimate moments of genuine togetherness. It's all about being present in the moment and seeing each other and that's exactly what an active family holiday offers.

As parents ourselves with children of all ages, we know what it takes to make an active family holiday work. This means, for example, that the walking and cycling distances are not unnecessarily long or that the holiday includes a variety of activities so that the children can try different things.

Our active family holidays are suitable for children from 6 years old.

Walking holidays for families

It is important that the walking distances are affordable for the children, so that the trip is a good experience every day. On our family hiking trips, distances therefore range from 1-4 hours. On some trips, there are also days off in the programme, so there is time for other things. We carry luggage from hotel to hotel on all trips, so you just focus on hiking and enjoying the moment, nature and each other.

Cycling holidays for families

On our family cycling holidays, we also aim to keep distances manageable for children, but it's also important that rides take place on safe cycle paths, free from cars and other hazards. On cycling holidays, we transport luggage from hotel to hotel, so you only need to bring things you'll need on the day.

Multiadventure for families

Multiadventure is the perfect active family holiday, for those children who want to try many different things during their holiday. Trips include hiking, cycling, via ferrata, stand up paddle, horse riding, kayaking and much more. All trips are put together so it's easy to get to and you can safely relax and enjoy the great experiences together.

Important when you choose your tour

There are no special requirements for your physical fitness when it comes to an active family holiday. That said, it's important that everyone enjoys exercise and has the courage to be active. You know your children and are therefore in the best position to assess whether your children can cope with the activities on the trip. On all trips, we describe the activities in detail so that you can decide whether they are right for you. Remember that on a 3-4 hour hike, for example, you have the opportunity to take several breaks along the way.

Children get a discount

On our family holidays there is a discount for children, but it is important to know that the children's discount applies when children share a room with two full-paying adults. On the tours, you'll see the adult prices as a rule, so on the booking form you'll select the children's discount if it applies to you. The children's discount varies from tour to tour, so check the individual tour and the tour booking form.
