Have you always dreamed of getting a diving certificate and discovering the fascinating wildlife of the open oceans? Then now is your chance. At Bering Rejser you can make your dream come true. If you want to learn the art of diving, you can go regardless of whether you know a little about diving or whether you still need to make your diving debut. The Red Sea at Earth offers amazing and exciting wildlife, which is an experience in itself. In addition, diving in Jordan also allows you to experience distinctive man-made dive sites. An example of this could be diving around and exploring a tank or shipwreck up close underwater. But you also have the opportunity to discover the impressive ruins of Petra, which has been named one of the New Wonders by UNESCO.
Aqaba, for example, is not a diving destination you hear much about in Denmark, but here you can enjoy peace and quiet while experiencing coral reefs that rival any place in the world for intact and colourful corals. Here you can dive in peace and enjoy the zebra-striped fish and the undulating movement of the sea anemones. You might even catch a glimpse of a moray eel staring at you from its hiding place. Who knows? There's a good selection of both soft and hard corals. They are found in concentrations not found elsewhere in the Red Sea. There are large areas of soft corals, huge clumps and columns of beautiful massive corals as well as huge salad coral formations.
The fish selection is similar to that found elsewhere in the Red Sea, including angelfish, butterflyfish, dragonfish, scorpionfish, parrotfish and moray eels.
All diving in Jordan takes place on the coastline off Aqaba Bay. It stretches for a modest 27km, but despite this, many of the best dive sites in the northern Red Sea are found right here.
Although Jordan is a country where water scarcity is a known problem, that doesn't mean that diving opportunities are limited. Despite Jordan's short coastline, there's a world of adventure just waiting to be explored. So what are you waiting for?
