Hiking guide
I was born and raised in southern Jutland and have always had a great love for adventure, so when I travelled to Africa and climbed Kilimanjaro for the first time about 10 years ago, I was hooked. Because in my opinion, travelling to distant lands, climbing mountains in thin air and getting out into nature and away from the noise of the city is the closest you can get to a real adventure.
Have now spent the last 10 years travelling in more than 50 countries and the great passion is definitely in the heights, mountain climbing, alpine landscapes and thin air. Finds great joy in sharing experiences with others and has now led several groups and expeditions to the summit of both Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Russia, and Island Peak and Mera Peak in Nepal. So that's now been quite a bit of altitude experience, but also many other fun experiences around the planet.
Besides this, I'm a trained chef and have a great passion for food, whether it's Dal Bhat in a tea house in Nepal, kobe meat in Japan, gourmet snails in Paris or monkey soup in Myanmar, I'm up for it.
