Indonesia - Bali Bliss Yoga Retreat

This retreat gives you the opportunity to slow down and connect with yourself. As you leave your everyday life behind you and immerse yourself in daily yoga, healthy foods and wellness treatments, stress begins to melt away one drop at a time, and you can return to your pure essence in a state of bliss.

Bali is magical. Also known as the Island of the Gods, it’s a lush paradise, with perfectly-sculpted rice terraces, abundant green jungles, surrounded by the vast Indian Ocean and is well known for its art and culture.

There’s a spiritual atmosphere wherever you look – whether you’re in one of the thousands of temples or watching as the Balinese begin their days with prayer and offerings to the gods. Here you will feel close to God, the Universe, Source or whatever you call that something, that is much bigger than you.

This yoga retreat is an invitation for you to peel off layers of mental stress and physical tension, and let your body guide you home to that place inside you where stillness can always be found.

The classes will be taught in English, but with Danish translation available.

Yoga
During this yoga retreat we will explore a mix of slow flow vinyasa yoga and yin yoga, as well as pranayama (breathing exercises) and yoga nidra (deep relaxation). The morning practise will be dynamic and energising and the afternoon practise will be calming and relaxing.

You are welcome to join us whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, but I recommend you have some experience with yoga, so you can get the most from the yoga classes.

Accomodations

Desa Seni Village Resort

We’ll be staying at the Desa Seni Village Resort on the south west coast of the island. This place offers laid-back luxury accommodation in antique and original wooden homes, brought to Bali from islands around Indonesia and then restored. A unique chance for you to experience living in a home that reflects the Indonesian culture and heritage. There’s a pool, a holistic spa and a restaurant with organic, fresh and healthy food – almost 80% of of which is grown at Desa Seni. And it’s only a 12-min. walk from the beach.
