Day 6 Gjendebu to Eidsbugarden

This walking day starts idyllically with a walk through dense birch forest, which is full of life - including many birds. You'll follow the rushing Veslåe River and head uphill via Fjellheide and if you're lucky, you might see a reindeer! Today's hike is generally a moderate one without the big climbs and descents. Most of the hike is on soft ground and along the way there are beautiful views of many of Jotunheimen's highest peaks.  After arriving at the shores of Lake Bygdin, you can continue to idyllic Eidsbugarden.

This way you can enjoy the beauty of the amazing Jotunheimen National Park one last time. You will return by bus to Oslo's Old Town, where you can enjoy life and look back on an unforgettable walking holiday in Norway.
